We founded LEIT & HELD in 2018. Pia Held is an art director and designer, Dana Mikoleit works as an interior architect and Nina Conrad is a sustainability manager specialized in leather.
Together, we envision a leather industry that is more local and transparent. We want to break the status quo in the fashion industry and show a new way of producing leather goods that is more sustainable, conscious and more beautiful.
We are a member of Textile Exchange, the largest NGO working for change in the textile industry, and are involved in the Responsible Leather Round Table for greater transparency in the leather industry.
As a member of MaxTex, the Network for Sustainable Textiles, and through our participation in international conferences and events, we follow all developments in the industry.
